Data Science Analyst (AI & Data)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Palantir Foundry using Python and PySpark.
• Implement Foundry Data Model and Ontology elements, including object types, relationships, and actions.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, estimate effort, and document design decisions.
• Ensure data quality through validations, health checks, unit tests, schema control, and build monitoring.
• Optimize distributed transformations through partitioning, incremental processing, and efficient Spark usage.
• Build consumption layers and lightweight analytic applications in Workshop, Contour, and Quiver, and collaborate with client data and IT teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Data Science or Data Engineering in production environments.
• Strong Python skills, including modular programming, data structures, object-oriented programming, Pandas, dependency management, and automated testing.
• Hands-on PySpark experience with DataFrames, joins, window functions, aggregations, partitioning, and distributed execution.
• Advanced SQL skills, including CTEs, window functions, query optimization, and analytical modeling.
• Experience with a cloud data platform or lakehouse such as Palantir Foundry, Databricks, Fabric/Synapse, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Understanding of Git, code review, collaborative repositories, ambiguous requirements, and data modeling. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
