Salary: $128,000 - $192,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, secure, cost-efficient cloud infrastructure using automation tools.
• Define cloud infrastructure requirements (functional and nonfunctional) and apply cloud architecture standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Automate cloud infrastructure and operations for hirify.global products on GCP (and other cloud providers) using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps workflows.
• Improve scalability, performance, security, and disaster recovery through automation and self-service workflows.
• Support compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FedRAMP).
• Develop documentation and training materials and advocate infrastructure decisions across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of experience in public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
• 2+ years of experience managing cloud via Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and GitOps using tools like GitHub Actions, Argo CD, or Jenkins.
• 1+ years of experience with programming/scripting (Go, Python, Shell) and implementing secure, scalable cloud network solutions.
• 1+ years of experience establishing observability for production systems and leading incident management to achieve 99.9% uptime or higher.
• Qualified applicants must not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator with deep understanding of Kubernetes internals.
• Familiarity with IaC actuation tools like Atlantis and Terraform Cloud.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience writing technical/design documentation.
