TL;DR
Consultant I (IBM Maximo): Implementing and optimizing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions using IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) with an accent on functional business process mapping or technical system configuration. Focus on gathering requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, and developing reports to improve asset reliability and operational efficiency.
Location: Hybrid or Home-based in Canada

What you will do
- Support requirements-gathering workshops with business stakeholders to define current and future state processes.
- Document functional design specifications and create process flows for EAM solutions.
- Develop test scenarios, detailed test scripts, and training materials for end-users.
- Perform Maximo installations, configurations, upgrades, and data migrations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions for Maximo functional areas.
- Create and maintain reports using BIRT and Eclipse IDE.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Up to 2 years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo or Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
- Experience gathering and documenting business and user requirements.
- Must be based in Canada.
- For technical roles: Proficiency in SQL and experience with Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- For functional roles: Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Visio.
Nice to have
- Exceptional customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
