Salary: $99,000 - $145,200 annually

What you will do

• Interface with global Raptor customers to coordinate software integration into their systems architecture.
• Travel to customer sites to deliver technical expertise and characterize product software performance.
• Assist with field integration testing using NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, and autopilot stacks like PX4 and ArduPilot.
• Develop technical designs using satellite imagery and full-motion video for UAS visual positioning and navigation.
• Capture and convey tangible technical requirements for feature improvements to the product engineering team.
• Contribute code directly to the product engineering development process.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status (Citizen, Permanent Resident, Asylee, or Refugee) is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Math).
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience with embedded systems, SoCs, SBCs, and low-level Linux troubleshooting (kernel drivers, library dependencies).
• Experience supporting ISR, UAS, aerospace, or defense system integrations.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles and solution design with strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Vision, or Software Engineering.
• Experience with GStreamer, FFmpeg, and video streaming protocols (MPEG-TS, RTSP).
• Knowledge of GIS systems and image processing/computer vision.
• Understanding of aerial navigation, control theory, and 3D spatial math.
• Practical exposure to cameras, optics, lens calibration, and distortion.
