TL;DR

Bilingual Customer Service Analyst (Healthcare): Managing the authorization and reimbursement of health benefits for federal programs with an accent on processing medical requests and resolving provider issues. Location: Remote (Canada). Must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status to obtain required security clearance.

Salary: 46,292 - 52,078 CAD

What you will do

  • Handle incoming health-related calls, faxes, and web requests from healthcare professionals.
  • Analyze and process authorization requests based on established criteria.
  • Liaise directly with medical consultants and healthcare providers to clarify requests.
  • Resolve issues related to health care benefits and program eligibility.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and French (written and verbal).
  • Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B), including fingerprinting and criminal record checks.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree, or relevant experience in customer service or office administration.
  • Strong technical aptitude to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously.
  • Ability to work accurately under time constraints and pressure.
