What you will do
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT Clinical Service Desk inquiries via phone, chat, and email.
- Provide first-line technical support and resolve system or application issues for clinical staff.
- Monitor system performance and manage service requests to ensure proactive issue resolution.
- Maintain and update the Service Desk Knowledge Base to support team and client needs.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to address product-specific issues within healthcare business contexts.
- Handle critical-level cases independently while maintaining high service standards.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of relevant IT support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office, and ITSM software (e.g., KACE or SNOW).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, VPN clients, and basic Windows Server/Exchange.
- Understanding of healthcare workflows in ambulatory and acute care settings.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for software support.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid office environment in East Meadow, NY.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Knowledge of Altera Solutions (Sunrise Clinical Manager, Radiology, Enterprise Scheduling).
- Familiarity with A+ and N+ terminology.
