Location: Remote (Austin, TX) — Full-Time; must reside in the U.S. states of AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WI, or Washington DC; must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product design vision for an enterprise data platform.
• Translate lineage, migration impact, governance, and blast-radius workflows into clear, navigable product experiences.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define what gets built, for whom, and why.
• Design for both technical users and senior stakeholders with different confidence needs.
• Build and maintain the design system, set quality standards, and create repeatable design standards.
• Run user discovery and research, and use AI across the design workflow (synthesis, ideation, prototyping, iteration, productivity).

Requirements

• Must reside in the listed U.S. states and be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• Senior or lead-level product design experience in enterprise, B2B SaaS, or similarly complex products.
• Strong product thinking with evidence of influencing what gets built and why.
• Portfolio showing complex, data-dense interfaces made simple (dashboards, graphs, visualizations, technical workflows, or enterprise tools).
• Strong information design and data visualization instincts.
• Experience owning a design system end-to-end (components, standards, adoption, and maintenance).

Nice to have

• Experience designing for technical users (developers, data engineers, analysts, or platform teams).
• Familiarity with lineage, graph visualization, data governance, migration impact analysis, or metadata products.
• Exposure to regulated industries (financial services, insurance, healthcare, or government).
