What you will do

• Define and own risk parameters including max open interest, position size limits, leverage tiers, and margin requirements.
• Establish processes and infrastructure for managing liquidations and offloading risk via hedging or counterparty relationships.
• Design risk monitoring systems for continuous visibility into account health, exposure concentration, and exchange solvency.
• Define operational playbooks for responding to stressed market conditions and large position buildups.
• Build internal tooling using Python and SQL to evaluate risk and track exposures.

Requirements

• Deep trading experience from a trading firm or exchange.
• Hands-on experience managing liquidations and navigating crisis moments in live markets.
• Strong understanding of crypto exchange operations, margin mechanics, funding rates, and pricing models.
• Ability to act decisively under pressure with significant financial stakes.
• Established counterparty relationships to facilitate risk offloading.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other data analysis tools for building monitoring infrastructure.
