What you will do

• Define and drive the frontend architecture for the next-generation console, focusing on long-term maintainability and shared abstractions.
• Design and maintain cross-origin authentication and session infrastructure, including complex auth flows and security policies.
• Build a frontend serving platform that hosts multiple products under a unified development workflow.
• Create tooling and patterns that enable non-frontend engineers to build accessible, production-quality UI.
• Collaborate with design, growth, and infrastructure teams on experimentation, A/B testing, and feature rollouts.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to triage and mitigate production incidents.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• Deep experience building and operating production React applications at scale.
• Strong understanding of web platform fundamentals, including HTTP, browser security, authentication, cookies, and CORS.
• Experience building internal platforms, frameworks, or shared libraries for other engineering teams.
• Strong judgment in frontend architecture and scalable testing strategies.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate complex technical tradeoffs effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience designing codebases optimized for AI-assisted development.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience with feature flagging, analytics, and experimentation systems.
• Background in identity, admin, B2B SaaS, or security-sensitive product surfaces.
