Salary: $120,000–$355,000

What you will do

• Build and operate detection and response engineering for Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes using DevOps methodologies.
• Develop and implement automation-as-code to proactively identify and counter security threats.
• Enhance the design and effectiveness of cloud and container security measures.
• Develop tailored detection policies and perform security data analysis using SQL, KQL, or SPL.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to create scalable security solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations for triage of critical security events.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in cloud security event prevention, detection, and response in public cloud environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes environment, logging, and runtime security.
• Must be a U.S. citizen/resident or eligible for Canadian Protected B reliability status.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages like Go or Python for detection-as-code.
• Experience managing infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of modern attacker TTPs and experience in highly regulated hosting environments.
