Salary: $292,500–$405,000 + equity

What you will do

• Architect and implement production-grade security services such as authentication, access brokers, secure proxies, and key-management infrastructure.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and research engineers to embed security into compute clusters for rapid model training and deployment.
• Develop automation and detection tools to identify and mitigate risks in large-scale cloud and on-prem environments.
• Lead initiatives like line-speed encryption, machine identity, and network isolation to enhance security for AI workloads.
• Participate in design reviews and threat modeling to ensure strong security foundations and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Must be located in the US (San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City) or able to work remotely within the US.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python, Go, Rust, or C/C++ with experience in high-reliability distributed services.
• Experience building or operating critical security infrastructure such as auth services and key-management systems.
• Deep understanding of security principles, cloud platform security (Azure, AWS, GCP), and container/orchestration security (Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
