What you will do

• Design and implement the next generation of the production platform based on data and experience.
• Own the testing, building, and deployment processes within a high-scale PaaS environment.
• Collaborate across the organization to set technology standards and design production systems.
• Build and lead the company's Platform and Reliability practices.
• Participate in incident management and maintain comprehensive internal system documentation.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and Golang.
• In-depth experience with Kubernetes (CKA or equivalent).
• Experience with observability principles, including SLI/SLO definition and tracking.
• Proven expertise in non-abstract systems design and implementation.
• Strong communication skills for working with globally distributed teams.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience working on SaaS/PaaS products across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Familiarity with CircleCI, Chronosphere, Splunk, Bazel, Istio, Playwright, or Karpenter.
• Experience with Apache Airflow.
• Previous participation in on-call rotations.
