Salary: $405,000 - $485,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end build, test, merge, and deploy pipeline architecture.
• Optimize the time from code push to production as a core engineering metric.
• Design and tune AI-assisted code review systems to maintain high confidence at scale.
• Build robust release paths including canary analysis, progressive rollouts, and automated rollbacks.
• Improve test reliability by identifying and quarantining intermittent failures.
• Represent the Developer Productivity team in cross-org pipeline and infrastructure decisions.

Requirements

• Significant backend or developer-infrastructure engineering experience at scale.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one statically-typed systems language (Go or Rust).
• Experience operating CI/CD or release systems through production incidents.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus across platform, security, and product teams.
• Comfort using AI coding tools as a daily part of your workflow.
• Must be able to work from the San Francisco or New York office at least 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bazel or similar build-graph/test-targeting systems.
• Track record of leading monorepo migrations or repository topology changes.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Buildkite, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience authoring engineering policy or paved-path tooling.
