What you will do
- Line manage, mentor, and grow a team of platform engineers and SREs to build a high-performing, psychologically safe culture.
- Define and execute the platform roadmap covering compute, networking, CI/CD, and Kubernetes-based services.
- Own and improve SLIs/SLOs for platform services to ensure high reliability and performance.
- Champion end-to-end observability and lead major incident responses including blameless post-incident reviews.
- Drive automation-first approaches using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate with InfoSec to embed security, compliance, and secrets management into the platform lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in engineering management leading platform, SRE, or infrastructure teams.
- Hands-on experience operating cloud services at scale with deep expertise in AWS.
- Strong background in SRE/DevOps practices including SLIs/SLOs and incident management.
- Expertise with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in scripting or coding with Python, Go, or Bash.
