Network Security Professional (Cyber Security): Providing technical support for complex network security and cyber security deployments across UK contracts with an accent on incident response, remediation, firewall engineering, and integration testing. Focus on making incident decisions, applying mitigation controls, integrating new products and services, and supporting customers and vendors across Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, Zscaler, and F5 environments.
Location: Sheffield, United Kingdom; supporting UK contracts

What you will do
- Provide technical support for complex network security and cyber security deployments across UK contracts.
- Act as a security incident decision maker and ensure appropriate mitigation controls and incident response.
- Provide security advice and remediation support to BT business lines and external customers.
- Complete and own integration testing for new products and services, including supporting documentation.
- Build effective working relationships with customer representatives and vendors, and direct support staff when required.
- Support the team leader and line manager.
Requirements
- CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent.
- Firewall engineering experience with Fortinet, Cisco ASA, ISE and FirePower, Palo Alto, Check Point, Zscaler, and F5 Load Balancer.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, the seven-layer OSI model, and data network architecture and operation.
- Knowledge of engineering best practices and continuous delivery.
- Ability to work in Sheffield, United Kingdom, and support UK contracts.
