What you will do

  • Perform general and specialized servicing, maintenance, and repairs on wind turbines to ensure high availability.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and fault-finding activities and execute on-site performance analysis.
  • Implement action plans to optimize turbine capacity and fleet performance.
  • Provide software and hardware updates and offer on-line and phone technical support.
  • Collaborate with technicians and back-office staff to perform on-the-job demonstrations.
  • Generate technical reports on turbine components and handle alarm changes and parameter disabling.

Requirements

  • Full UK/EU Driving Licence is required.
  • Mechanical or Electrical training via time-served experience or a technical college qualification (minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience in the mechanical or electrical industry and ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagrams.
  • Must be physically fit and pass a working at height test (working up to 140m).
  • Availability for on-call shifts every 2nd or 3rd weekend.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, in-house databases, and workload management systems.
