TL;DR

Director Of Data Consulting (CRM/Martech): Leading client analytics and data strategy for a major global automotive client with an accent on CRM, first-party data, and Martech architecture. Focus on designing measurement frameworks, driving business outcomes through data-driven insights, and leading cross-functional global teams.

Location: Toronto, Canada. Ability to be onsite and/or travel 50%+ of the time. Preferred: Local to the Detroit metro area, or open to cities within a 2-hour flight time to Detroit.

What you will do

  • Lead the analytics agenda and strategic advisory for major client relationships, aligning work to business priorities.
  • Shape strategic roadmaps for CRM analytics, first-party data, measurement, and customer intelligence.
  • Lead across matrixed global teams and agency partners through influence to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Design comprehensive measurement frameworks, KPI definitions, and testing approaches across digital channels.
  • Apply advanced analytics, AI, and automation to forecasting, personalization, and scalable reporting.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing, globally distributed analytics team.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in analytics, including leadership and consultative experience in an agency or consultancy.
  • Deep expertise in CRM, first-party data, customer analytics, and modern Martech ecosystems (CDPs, marketing clouds).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, BigQuery, Google Analytics, Salesforce, or Adobe.
  • Strong executive communication skills and the ability to advise senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to be onsite and/or travel 50%+ of the time.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or other data-rich consumer categories is highly preferred.
