What you will do

• Maintain and enhance platform technologies including VMware, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Manage environments using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve observability and proactive monitoring using tools like Dynatrace.
• Lead post-mortems to identify and implement long-term technical fixes.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, and application stacks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK and able to work in a hybrid model.
• At least 5 years of experience with DevOps principles, IaC, and CI/CD.
• 5+ years of experience with container platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience with VMware technologies in production.
• Proficiency in Linux or Windows operating systems.
• Strong focus on continuous improvement and automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Leadership or mentoring experience in technical teams.
• Certifications in VMware or major cloud providers (Azure, GCP, AWS).
