What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Azure infrastructure supporting production environments.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform to ensure reproducibility.
• Partner with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Enhance system reliability and observability using monitoring tools and proactive alerting.
• Lead cloud optimization projects to improve cost-efficiency, performance, and security.
• Mentor team members to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• Deep experience designing, deploying, and operating Azure infrastructure at scale.
• Strong expertise with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Coding skills in Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby.
• Understanding of observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with Kubernetes (AKS) in production.
• Expertise in Azure cost management and scaling strategies.
• Previous experience in platform engineering or developer productivity roles.
