What you will do

• Provide academic guidance and support for students enrolled in online courses.
• Facilitate synchronous instructional sessions and 1-to-1 tutoring using web conferencing and virtual whiteboards.
• Grade student assignments and communicate with parents, school administration, and clients.
• Implement accommodations and modifications required by individual education plans.
• Orient students to coursework, communicate participation requirements, and enforce academic integrity.
• Contribute professional expertise to curriculum support and professional learning communities.

Requirements

• Teacher certification is a firm requirement.
• At least 3 years of experience as a teacher.
• Must be based in the US.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card within two weeks of employment.
• Access to a computer, high-speed internet, and phone connection.
