Virtual Teacher (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; priority hiring locations include Connecticut, Maryland, Kansas, Oregon, New York, Florida, New Jersey, South Dakota, and Rhode Island.

Base pay: $20.50–$22.00 per hour, or $44,948–$45,760 annually.

What you will do

• Provide academic guidance, monitoring, coaching, mentoring, and teaching for students enrolled in online courses.
• Prepare and facilitate synchronous instructional sessions, live tutoring, and virtual whiteboard activities.
• Support concept comprehension through live chat, phone, email, and virtual conferencing.
• Adapt and enrich course content through remediation, modification, and appropriate learning strategies.
• Implement accommodations and modifications required by individual education plans.
• Grade assignments and communicate with parents, school administrators, and partner clients.

Requirements

• Active teacher certification is required.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and maintain required educator licenses, clearances, and credentials.
• Access to a computer, high-speed internet, and a phone connection.
• Ability to obtain additional certifications and a fingerprint clearance card within the first two weeks of employment.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus strong communication, organization, documentation, and time-management skills.
