What you will do

• Develop detailed cost plans and estimates for pharma/biotech projects, incorporating GMP and site layout constraints.
• Provide strategic cost advice, budget updates, and value engineering insights to senior leadership.
• Manage the full RFP process and oversee both pre- and post-contract administration.
• Perform bid evaluations and cost negotiations while maintaining strict quality assurance to mitigate risk.
• Act as the key liaison between site managers, clients, and contractors to ensure project execution.
• Maintain critical project documentation, risk assessments, and reports to ensure audit readiness.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost estimating, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site at client locations in the US.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience and a Master's degree in a relevant field.
• MRICS status and field experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.
• Proficiency in CostX, Power BI, and advanced Excel for forecasting and estimates.
• Experience with mission-critical facilities such as data centers, laboratories, or manufacturing plants.
• Knowledge of PMBOK, AACE, FDA, and EMA compliance frameworks.
