Procurement Manager

TL;DR

Procurement Manager (Supply Chain Management): Develop indent purchases for hirify.global and other Helm companies in Asia, build supplier cooperation, and manage supplier performance with an accent on market monitoring, procurement planning (right time/place/price), and supplier selection/corrective action. Focus on ensuring compliance with Chinese laws and Helm regulations while coordinating closely with overseas colleagues.

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global’s operations in Asia for Crop Solutions and develop indent purchases for hirify.global and other Helm companies.
• Develop cooperation with new suppliers and new products sourced from Asia.
• Continuously monitor products and the local market, and propose new opportunities for EU overseas.
• Expand and manage the supplier network, including supplier performance reviews (priority on producers) and supplier visits.
• Create procurement plans/strategies aligned with EU requirements for the right time, place, and price; monitor contract fulfillment and manage documentation.
• Support technical and registration activities for new products (patent status evaluation, regulatory documentation guidance, and knowledge sharing).

Requirements

• Language: Native Chinese speaker with fluent English
• Bachelor degree in Agrochemical, Crop Protection, Chemical, or international trade.
• Preferably 5–10 years of experience in the AG Chem industry.
• Respect Chinese laws and Helm regulations.
• Full-time work capability exclusively for hirify.global’s Chinese operations
• Basic knowledge of the value chain of base chemicals; good social/communication skills and industry/business acumen.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and SAP.
