What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic planning for the regional purchasing unit within short and medium-range timeframes.
• Manage and administer budgets in cooperation with supervisors to ensure strict compliance.
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to regional associates, including personnel planning and hiring.
• Control regional purchasing activities, including supplier evaluation, risk management, and cost-value analysis.
• Lead complex negotiations and conclude strategic contracts to optimize costs and supply security.
• Establish and implement framework conditions for sourcing and purchasing activities in the Americas.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in a procurement role within the automotive environment.
• Strong experience in purchasing and extensive global market knowledge.
• English: Business level proficiency required.
