HEOR Science Liaison (Biotech): Serving as a scientific bridge between the company and external healthcare decision-makers to demonstrate the value of innovative mental health therapies with an accent on clinical evidence, real-world evidence, and pharmacoeconomics. Focus on translating complex scientific and economic data into compelling narratives for payer and access stakeholders to support informed formulary and reimbursement decisions.
Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote).
Salary: $160,000–$195,000 USD per annum.

What you will do
- Cultivate peer-to-peer relationships with key payer thought leaders, formulary decision-makers, and other healthcare decision-makers.
- Deliver scientifically rigorous presentations on clinical data, pharmacoeconomic models, and budget impact analyses.
- Partner with internal teams to identify evidence gaps and support the design and dissemination of observational and retrospective studies.
- Synthesize field intelligence on payer policies, coverage criteria, and competitive landscape dynamics.
- Serve as a scientific resource to Market Access and Commercial teams, providing training on disease state and health economics.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from payer and access stakeholders.
Requirements
- Advanced degree required (M.D., D.O., Pharm.D., or Ph.D.) in a relevant scientific or health-related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a field-based liaison in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in managed care, PBM, CMS, or healthcare consulting.
- Strong understanding of the US payer landscape, formulary management, and reimbursement processes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of health economics methodology, including cost-effectiveness analysis and budget impact modeling.
- Must have existing employment rights in the United States as visa sponsorship is not available.
- Ability to travel 50–70% of the time by car and air.
