What you will do

• Combine live action and CG elements to realize the creative vision of the client and VFX Supervisor.
• Perform 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering, and color grading to create seamlessly integrated shots.
• Ensure overall look, color balance, and quality uniformity across assigned shots and sequences.
• Collaborate with team members and provide feedback during regular dailies.
• Mentor Apprentice and Junior artists, assisting them with their technical and artistic execution.
• Deliver high-quality work while meeting defined production milestones and timelines.

Requirements

• Must be based in or have the right to work in Sydney, Australia.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in feature film production.
• Professional showreel demonstrating high-level compositing skills.
• Fluency in Nuke.
• Strong foundation in fine arts, photography, and photographic lighting.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, Design, or Photography.
• Experience with Python and/or C++.
• Ability to write Nuke gizmos.
