Compositing Supervisor (VFX)

Location: Hybrid (Sydney, Australia). Must be based in Sydney or be able to relocate to be eligible. Required to work from the office at least two days per week.

What you will do

• Oversee and deliver all compositing aspects of assigned shows, ensuring highest quality and sustainable delivery.
• Collaborate closely with DFX and VFX Supervisors to execute the project's creative vision.
• Manage and supervise a team of 2D artists, implementing consistent methodologies.
• Solve technical problems and design the creative approach for individual shots.
• Manage production bidding and project timelines, balancing artistic quality with time constraints.

Requirements

• Industry experience as a 2D Supervisor in VFX.
• Advanced proficiency in Nuke.
• Proven experience managing teams of 2D artists and collaborating with VFX/DFX Supervisors.
• Deep understanding of Color pipelines and client deliverables.
• Strong ability to communicate visual requirements through clear creative briefs.
• Must be based in Sydney or willing to relocate to Australia.
