What you will do

• Design new products and modifications for mineral processing and material handling applications.
• Produce 3D models, detailed drawings, and comprehensive manufacturing documentation.
• Perform design calculations, engineering analysis, and simulations.
• Conduct site inspections, physical measurements, and reverse-engineering activities.
• Coordinate designs through engineering review and document release to manufacturing.
• Provide technical advice to sales, suppliers, and customers during installation and performance reviews.

Requirements

• Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia (employer-sponsored visa support is not available).
• Must be based in Australia.
• Mechanical Engineering degree, diploma, or recognized equivalent.
• Strong experience designing mechanical products for mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial applications.
• Advanced proficiency in NX or a comparable CAD platform.
• Sound knowledge of fabrication, casting, machining, and heavy manufacturing processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with structural calculations and FEA tools such as ANSYS.
• Proficiency with DEM software or Teamcenter PLM.
• Experience utilizing 3D scanning technology.
