What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional team of software engineers and data scientists to develop LLM-based applications.
• Design LLM workflows utilizing RAG, tool calling, structured outputs, agents, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Own end-to-end delivery from architecture and experimentation to deployment, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Establish evaluation-driven development practices, including the creation of golden datasets and production feedback loops.
• Translate business goals into technical roadmaps, milestones, and actionable execution plans.
• Provide technical guidance, architectural oversight, and career mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Tel Aviv
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in technical leadership or architecture roles.
• Strong background in both ML/LLM foundations and classical software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Proven track record of delivering complex production-grade distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Practical experience with RAG, prompt management, workflow orchestration, and LLM evaluation.

Nice to have

• Background in NLP, search, or applied data science.
• Experience with vector search, embeddings, reranking, and retrieval evaluation.
• Knowledge of LLM observability, MLOps, and ML platform practices.
• Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and data pipelines.
