What you will do

• Architect and implement high-scale systems managing agent data access patterns, telemetry, and auditability.
• Design and build the technical infrastructure required for the next generation of AI agents.
• Partner with Product and Security teams to implement rigorous data access permissions and governance controls.
• Lead technical direction, set engineering standards, and mentor team members.
• Advocate for and implement AI-first development patterns across the organization.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging agentic frameworks and tooling as the AI landscape evolves.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience leading large-scale distributed systems or platform engineering.
• Deep expertise in the LLM lifecycle: RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic reasoning patterns (ReAct, Chain-of-Thought).
• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or PydanticAI.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern language: Java, Python, Kotlin, Scala, Rust, or Go.
• Experience with vector, relational, and graph databases, as well as Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Must be based in Austria.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience building guardrails for autonomous systems and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, HIPAA).
