What you will do

• Manage all aspects of bring-up, calibration, optimization, and Design Verification Testing (DVT) for optical transceivers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PIC, analog IC, coherent DSP, and firmware engineering.
• Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts to streamline validation and correlation workflows.
• Perform data analysis to improve product performance and support mass-production readiness.
• Build and maintain testbeds using high-resolution OSA, VOA, EDFA, and WSS equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Electrical Engineering or related field with 3-5 years of experience, or Master's/PhD with 2-3 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of optical communications from system to component level.
• Proficiency in Python programming, specifically for automating instrument control.
• Ability to validate and debug electronic hardware.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law (e.g., US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for an export license).

• Background in digital signal processing (DSP).
