What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the professional development of the procurement team, including buyers and planners.
• Drive the standardization and implementation of procurement processes, supplier selection, and negotiation strategies.
• Develop and deploy advanced demand planning strategies in coordination with the product development team.
• Maintain up-to-date market knowledge to secure strategic parts and services while minimizing price fluctuation exposure.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to report on procurement performance and supplier results.
• Manage corporate oversight for purchases across multiple expense categories to achieve cost synergies.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Management, or Business discipline.
• 7+ years' experience in a manufacturing, production or military environment.
• 5+ years' leadership experience in a manufacturing, production or military environment.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing and ability to champion the use of Lean tools.
