Design to Value (DTV) Consumer Insights Lead (Consumer Insights/Research): Supporting ’ internal DTV team by uncovering and translating consumer and professional insights that drive value optimization across the product portfolio with an accent on research design, advanced analytics, and evidence-based recommendations. Focus on connecting qualitative/quantitative findings (including AI-driven approaches) to actionable decisions for cross-functional Agile product pods.

What you will do
- Conduct consumer and professional research to identify cost, quality, and performance optimization opportunities for existing products.
- Support DTV workstreams by defining research questions and building learning plans for new-to-portfolio innovation opportunities.
- Design, run, and synthesize insights using qualitative, quantitative, advanced analytics, and AI-driven research approaches.
- Integrate primary and secondary data, analyze consumer/professional/competitive/category inputs, and translate results into data-informed recommendations.
- Coordinate research execution with internal partners and external research agencies/vendors, ensuring quality and timing.
- Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and help teams apply findings in iterative testing and product refinement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, product innovation, or related fields.
- Fluency in qualitative, quantitative, advanced analytics, and AI-driven research methodologies.
- Proven ability to design and execute advanced analytics (e.g., discrete choice modeling) to answer complex business questions.
- Demonstrated experience supporting product and user-testing research across B2C, B2B, and professional audiences, including managing specialized B2B research partners.
- Strong storytelling skills to distill complex findings into actionable narratives.
- Hands-on proficiency with DIY research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Suzy, Zappi, Forsata, UserTesting) and ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.

Location: 1 Horizon Way, Deerfield, Illinois
Salary: $105,000–$165,000 USD (base hiring pay range)
