What you will do
- Lead primary research from strategy through execution to deliver actionable brand & audience insights across the portfolio.
- Design and run quantitative and qualitative studies end-to-end (including partnering with internal collaborators and external vendors).
- Manage a complex, portfolio-wide brand tracking program—interpreting results, presenting findings, and overseeing operational execution.
- Use syndicated data sources to add context to primary research and behavioral data.
- Create story-driven, executive-friendly presentations tailored to different stakeholders and teams.
- Support team goals through project management and administrative responsibilities, including mentoring and helping manage budget/invoice processes and research schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, psychology, social sciences, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in media or market research (client-side or market research supplier).
- Proven experience in quantitative research (survey design, sampling plans, analysis) and qualitative research (focus groups, IDIs, community panels).
- Ability to learn research tools and interfaces for survey programming, data manipulation, and visualization.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills for clear, audience-adapted storytelling and presentations.
- Knowledge and passion for TV and digital media, including entertainment, sports, and/or news.

- Bonus eligible; salary range: $100,000–$125,000.
