What you will do

• Drive high-impact technical roadmaps for internal platforms, APIs, and AI-powered workflows.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of large, multi-team initiatives from discovery to production.
• Set the standard for AI-native engineering, including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.
• Mentor and coach emerging senior and lead engineers through design reviews and pairing.
• Own operational standards including reliability, scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Influence cross-functional partners to align technical strategy with business outcomes.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software development with deep knowledge of computer science fundamentals.
• Deep expertise in internal platforms, SaaS systems, or AI-enabled systems.
• Proven track record of leading large, multi-team programs and making high-judgment architectural calls.
• Practical experience building or integrating production AI systems using LLM APIs and SDKs.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Boston, MA for a hybrid working model.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience building developer platforms or operations automation.
• Deep experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Experience partnering with go-to-market or operations leaders to translate workflows into tools.
