What you will do

• Lead the design, training, and deployment of NLP and transformer-based models for financial surveillance.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover insights supporting statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
• Contribute to model governance, documentation, and explainability frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on model development and EDA.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical tasks.
• Optimize and improve existing machine learning models and analytics workflows.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, compliance, surveillance, or regulatory technology.
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
• Deep knowledge of NLP transfer learning, word embeddings, and transformer models (BERT, GPT-x).
• Experience with NLP toolkits like NLTK, spaCy, or Nvidia NeMo.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Math, or Statistics.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCS, Azure).
• Background in automated supervision or compliance tools.
