What you will do

• Contribute code to public repositories by working on well-defined, scoped issues.
• Develop and improve agentic IDE integrations, including Agent Hooks and plugins.
• Maintain open source posture through repository cleanup, documentation, and testing.
• Write clean, well-tested code and create clear technical documentation.
• Participate in team rituals including standups, planning, retros, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and see them through to completion.
• Curiosity for finding better ways of doing things and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to open source contributing or maintaining public repositories.
• Familiarity with Git and modern IDEs (e.g., VS Code, Cursor).
• Interest in AI-enabled/agentic IDEs and the emerging agent-hook ecosystem.
• Experience with programming languages used in developer tooling.
• Interest in building SDKs, CLIs, or other developer-centric tools.
