What you will do

• Build and manage cloud security posture and related platforms, processes, and baselines.
• Co-own implementation of multiple enterprise cybersecurity programs.
• Perform security architecture reviews and support rollouts, enhancements, and initiatives.
• Research, design, and implement security automations in partnership with IT and other teams.
• Design, document, and implement cloud security solutions including IAM, network security, data protection, DevSecOps, and compliance.
• Apply cloud security best practices (encryption, authentication, authorization, audit) and maintain relevant certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, computer science, or information systems management.
• 5+ years of experience in technology-driven security solutions with emphasis on cloud infrastructure (defense or related industries).
• Experience with EDR, firewall, SIEM, or other common cybersecurity solutions.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud security automation.
• Expertise in one or more of: IAM, cryptography/key management, access controls, and security protocols (e.g., MFA, SAML, OAuth).
• Expertise with Azure/AWS infrastructure services and cloud security best practices; eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret/Top Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or SOC Engineer focused on cloud infrastructure.
• Scripting, automation, and integration across multiple platforms and data sources.
• Deep experience with AI/LLM platforms and security related to both.
• 7+ years with Linux, Azure, AWS, and common cloud security stack experience.
