What you will do

• Design and maintain secure architectures across AWS and Azure environments.
• Implement cloud security controls including IAM, network segmentation, and encryption.
• Integrate security checks and DevSecOps practices into CI/CD workflows.
• Manage vulnerability scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
• Support compliance monitoring and audit readiness using platforms like Vanta and Compyl.
• Assist in incident response, alert triage, and threat modeling activities.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Working knowledge of cloud security concepts (IAM, logging, monitoring, shared responsibility).
• Experience with vulnerability management and SIEM tools (e.g., Rapid7, Wazuh, Sentinel).
• Basic to intermediate scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Terraform).
• Must be based in the US with a preference for EST time zone.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or HITRUST.
• Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
