What you will do
- Design and maintain secure architectures across AWS and Azure environments.
- Implement cloud security controls including IAM, network segmentation, and encryption.
- Integrate security checks and DevSecOps practices into CI/CD workflows.
- Manage vulnerability scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
- Support compliance monitoring and audit readiness using platforms like Vanta and Compyl.
- Assist in incident response, alert triage, and threat modeling activities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or related technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Working knowledge of cloud security concepts (IAM, logging, monitoring, shared responsibility).
- Experience with vulnerability management and SIEM tools (e.g., Rapid7, Wazuh, Sentinel).
- Basic to intermediate scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Terraform).
- Must be based in the US with a preference for EST time zone.
Nice to have
- Experience with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or HITRUST.
- Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
