TL;DR
Product Data Scientist (ML): Building predictive and behavioral models that power personalized in-app experiences, churn/retention/activation, and finance forecasting with an accent on production ML pipelines, experimentation/causal rigor, and model-driven decisioning. Focus on shipping models end to end—from question framing and SQL feature pipelines to deployment/monitoring in Databricks/AWS and stakeholder communication.

What you will do
- Ship models for smart, personalized in-app experiences using real-time behavior, family context, and engagement history.
- Detect usage patterns (communication, scheduling, activity) and turn them into adaptive suggestions, alerts, and guidance.
- Build lifecycle ML models for churn, retention, and activation, plus predictive segmentation/propensity/uplift refreshed via automated pipelines.
- Partner with Finance on cohort-level subscriber/revenue forecasting, LTV by acquisition source, and sensitivity analysis; build pricing/promo/refund-risk models.
- Train, deploy, and monitor models in Databricks and AWS, using Claude Code as the primary engineering interface.
- Improve experimentation rigor with uplift modeling, geo-tests, and A/B analysis grounded in causal framing.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the USA
- 5+ years shipping predictive models in production (personalization, behavioral prediction, lifecycle ML, or subscription forecasting).
- Strong Python and SQL; hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS.
- Proven impact on subscription/consumer-app metrics (LTV, churn, retention, activation, forecasting).
- Solid experimentation and causal methods experience (A/B, DiD, uplift, geo-tests, or similar).
- Production rigor: feature pipelines, model monitoring, and retraining cadence.
