What you will do

• Design and maintain production services that deliver health features in collaboration with ML scientists.
• Lead the architecture of scalable ML inference systems, APIs, and backend services.
• Collaborate with Data Platform teams to improve ML data pipelines and validation frameworks.
• Translate research prototypes into production systems that operate at scale.
• Drive operational excellence through monitoring, observability, and incident response.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, engineering standards, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to relocate to Boston, MA
• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering or ML platform engineering.
• Strong coding skills in Python and experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience deploying and operating ML inference systems at scale.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience partnering with data science teams to productionize models and algorithms.

Nice to have

• Experience developing software in regulated environments (SaMD, medical device, fintech).
• Experience processing time-series, streaming, or wearable sensor data.
• Master's degree in a related technical field.
