Location: Onsite in El Segundo, California. Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is required.

Salary: $140,000–$220,000

What you will do

• Design rigorous experimental constructs for large-scale simulation campaigns to maximize signal extraction.
• Apply advanced statistical methods including Bayesian inference, surrogate modeling, and sensitivity analysis.
• Build and maintain scalable Python-based data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and visualization.
• Develop ML and statistical surrogate models to accelerate trade studies and mission planning.
• Establish team standards for data management, reproducibility, and statistical rigor.
• Communicate quantitative results to senior technical and non-technical audiences through reports and visualizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, AI, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience applying advanced statistical and data science methods.
• Deep expertise in experimental design, regression, Bayesian methods, and uncertainty quantification.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, etc.).
• Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
• Ability to work onsite in El Segundo, California.

Nice to have

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
• Direct experience with military simulations like AFSIM, ESAMS, or Ansys STK.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with HPC environments and distributed computing.
