TL;DR

Deal Desk Financial Analyst (Financial Modeling/Deal Economics): Analyze deal economics for standard and non-standard agreements and build financial models to support pricing, discounting, and margin governance with an accent on complex tradeoffs across price, volume, risk, and contract structure. Focus on end-to-end Deal Desk workflow execution in Salesforce/CPQ and data-integrity policy compliance while partnering with Sales, Legal, and Finance to structure win-win deals.

Location: Remote (US) — not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA

Salary: $72,480–$106,500 (estimated pay range by location)

What you will do

  • Analyze deal economics for standard and non-standard agreements, including pricing, discounting, term length, usage commitments, and gross margin impact.
  • Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals by evaluating tradeoffs across price, volume, and risk within Twilio’s financial guardrails.
  • Build, maintain, and review financial models and pricing scenarios for non-standard deal requests and leadership approval decisions.
  • Own the end-to-end Deal Desk operational workflow in Salesforce/CPQ (quote building and approvals through Order Form creation, DocuSign execution, and opportunity closure) ensuring 100% data integrity and policy compliance.
  • Collaborate across Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sales to streamline deal velocity, especially during high-volume month- and quarter-end peaks.
  • Act as a guardrail and educator for Sales/GTM on contracting policies, approval matrices, and discount governance; review non-standard contract language for risk and revenue recognition alignment.

Requirements

  • US eligibility constraint: must not be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree plus 2+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or an analytical GTM/Deal Desk role; or 4+ years of relevant analytical experience without a degree.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to explain financial tradeoffs clearly.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including building intermediate financial models, logic formulas, and scenario analyses.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple high-velocity requests simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude, comfortable asking clarifying questions and operating with high integrity.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, CLM, and/or JIRA.
