What you will do

• Work with developers and product teams to understand technical requirements for new features and existing functionality.
• Design test scenarios and test cases that properly exercise the poker server.
• Trace and analyse server logs to understand system behavior and identify root causes.
• Communicate findings clearly and provide actionable recommendations to developers.
• Verify bugs once fixes are committed and provide sign-off or remedial recommendations.
• Use automation tools where appropriate to speed up testing and work from documentation/requirements early to flag risks.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of poker, including rules, gameplay, poker mechanics, and variants such as Texas Hold'em and Omaha.
• Genuine backend or system testing experience, ideally including API testing.
• Experience testing backend systems; C++ preferred (C#, Java, or Python acceptable).
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Awareness of agile and scrum ways of working.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JIRA or similar test management tools.
• Exposure to automation tools or AI-assisted QA processes.
