Location: Hybrid (Manchester, UK) — Minimum 3 days per week in-office

What you will do

• Perform end-to-end quality assurance reviews of secured lending applications, ensuring advice, credit assessments, and affordability checks comply with FCA regulations.
• Maintain meticulous records of QA checks and implement corrective actions to resolve identified risks.
• Generate detailed quality findings reports for senior management to drive process improvements and risk reduction.
• Supervise and provide sign-off for trainee Advisors to ensure quality standards are met from the start.
• Facilitate call calibration sessions to maintain consistent and accurate compliance scoring across the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, case managers, and advisors to strengthen the overall quality framework.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role within financial services or secured lending.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, specifically regarding consumer credit and secured lending.
• Experience conducting thematic reviews and assessing advice activity.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends from complex information.
• Effective communication skills for providing constructive feedback and building internal rapport.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with QA software.
