What you will do

• Develop and maintain quality processes including calibration, nonconforming product programs, and configuration management.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate quality requirements early in the product development lifecycle.
• Lead supplier qualification activities, including First Article Inspections (FAI) and supplier corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause investigations and drive effective corrective actions across inter-departmental teams.
• Own inspection planning and acceptance criteria for robotic components and assemblies.
• Support internal audits across multiple locations to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a hardware or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in inspection planning, GD&T interpretation, and measurement system analysis.
• Experience managing supplier quality, audits, and corrective action processes.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support field testing and customer deployments.

Nice to have

• CQE or CQA certification.
• Experience with DOD contractual requirements (FARs/DFARs).
• Exposure to robotics, automation, or NDT techniques.
