What you will do

• Lead design reviews, DFMEA, and DVP&R processes to mitigate quality risks before production.
• Define and execute design verification and validation plans aligned with regulatory standards.
• Represent quality requirements in cross-functional NPD teams and lead input tracker meetings.
• Analyze pre-production build data and test failures to prevent performance degradation.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to establish process controls and quality gates.
• Present quality risk summaries and corrective action progress to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of engineering experience in design verification and validation, preferably in consumer goods.
• Hands-on experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, and engineering change management.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-volume, rapid NPD cycles in consumer goods.
• Familiarity with supplier quality processes like PPAP.
• Exposure to human factors engineering or usability validation.
• Ability to travel to manufacturing sites or supplier facilities.
