What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain horizontally scalable backend systems in TypeScript and Go for millions of concurrent users.
• Develop and maintain GraphQL and REST APIs powering iOS, Android, and web clients.
• Lead features end-to-end from ideation and design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Define and uphold a robust testing strategy across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and client engineers to translate requirements into scalable, performant backend solutions.
• Drive architecture discussions, perform code reviews, and improve team processes to raise the quality bar.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Go.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, DynamoDB).
• Deep knowledge of testing best practices and frameworks.
• Experience owning features end-to-end from conception through production.
• Strong system design skills and practical experience scaling products serving millions of users.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
