TL;DR

Customer Support Representative (SaaS/Inventory): Providing technical assistance and software guidance to small and medium-sized business clients with an accent on troubleshooting order management and accounting workflows. Focus on delivering exceptional service via phone, email, and online meetings while maintaining system expertise in the SOS Inventory platform.

Location: Must be based in the US, with a strong preference for candidates in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones.

Salary: $15.11–$23.56 per hour

What you will do

  • Field customer support requests via online software and provide technical expertise.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers and potential clients regarding software capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot customer challenges using systematic and methodical diagnostic processes.
  • Conduct online meetings with customers to enhance support and internal training.
  • Maintain professional and friendly interactions with all stakeholders.
  • Continuously learn and master complex software systems through training and self-study.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US, preferably in Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in a customer support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple requests.
  • Ability to learn complex software systems quickly through documentation and self-study.
  • Must have a suitable office setting for telecommuting.

Nice to have

  • Experience with QuickBooks or accounting software.
  • Experience with inventory management software.
