TL;DR

Principal Technical Consultant (Identity): Leading hands-on implementation and deployment of identity management solutions for enterprise customers with an accent on complex security protocols and cloud architecture. Focus on designing robust access control models, managing concurrent deployment projects, and driving continuous process improvement.

Location: Must be available to work onsite in Northern Virginia

What you will do

• Provide hands-on technical consulting, configuration, and troubleshooting for Okta service deployments.
• Gather, analyze, and document post-sales requirements for diverse enterprise clients.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and status for multiple concurrent deployment projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to drive product development and address escalated issues.
• Mentor customers on service usage and train team members on best practices.
• Design new delivery offerings to improve scalability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must have active Top Secret Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Person (e.g., U.S. Citizen) to access federal environments.
• 5-7 years of experience as a technical consultant delivering solutions to external customers.
• Deep knowledge of identity federation and access control protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, WS-Federation).
• Software development experience with Java, Ruby, .Net, PHP, or REST/JSON.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and major MVC frameworks (Angular, React, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience designing security and identity management solutions for critical systems.
• Prior experience delivering Okta implementations.
• Mobile development experience (iOS and Android).
