What you will do

• Design and implement layered quality sensors across the CI/CD pipeline, including static analysis and AI-driven code reviews.
• Maintain and improve E2E test suites for critical payment flows such as card authorization, settlement, and 3D Secure.
• Review PRs to ensure test intent alignment between AI-authored and human-authored code.
• Identify and prioritize test coverage gaps based on customer impact and regulatory risk.
• Build load testing and performance validation frameworks to ensure system reliability.
• Explore chaos engineering approaches to validate system resilience and contribute to audit-trail documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on quality and testing.
• Proficiency in Go or a strong willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated AI fluency with practical experience in using AI assistants for development and testing.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Must be based in or able to work from Barcelona, Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability platforms like Datadog, New Relic, or Grafana.
• Understanding of failure modes in distributed systems (idempotency, retries, eventual consistency).
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
